Comprehensive Math Intervention

for 1-on-1, small group, and whole class intervention that integrates easily with

your schedule,
your curriculum,
your standards, and
your needs.

Mastery Learning Systems has a unique math intervention pedagogy that gets K-8 math students unstuck.

It is grounded in guided discovery: discovery tasks narrowly focused so that relevant math concepts and procedures are noticed, reinforced, and remembered. It significantly reduces fear and frustration, replacing them with success.

Middle-schoolers in Rohnert Park, California raised their math diagnostic scores from 58% to 84% after eight hours of after-school remediation using our method.

Sixth-graders in the ABC School District (Los Angeles area) tested below 25% accuracy on basic multiplication/division. They worked with Mastery Learning Systems materials for two to three hours a week for sixteen weeks. A teacher measured the results as a focus for her Master's thesis. At the conclusion of the study, every child achieved 93% or above accuracy.
